Appointments

All consultations are by an appointment system.  Appointments can be made by telephone, calling in at the surgery or via the SystmOnline system (requires login - available from reception).

Urgent cases and emergencies will always be seen. You can see any one of the doctors, although it is better for you to see the same doctor each time you attend. There may be times when your usual doctor is not available, due to holidays, study leave, teaching or illness. On these occasions patients will be seen by another doctor. If the problem is not urgent then you can make an appointment with their usual doctor when they return.

Consulting Times:

  • Mornings 8.00am or 8:30am - 11:30am
  • Afternoons 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Dr O'Toole: Monday Wednesday and Thursday

Dr Schutte: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Dr Corriette: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Dr White: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

All clinics are by appointment only

Surgery hours may vary - please see the Surgery noticeboard for times or contact reception.

Urgent Appointments

We would like to remind patients that same day appointments are for urgent medical problems only.

Patients will not be seen for the following:-

  • Repeat Prescriptions
  • Sick Notes
  • Long Standing Conditions
  • Test Results (unless instructed by GP)

Unkept Appointments

A considerable amount of surgery time is wasted by people either failing to inform us that they are unable to keep an appointment or giving us so little notice that the appointment cannot be re-allocated. Please let us know as far in advance as possible if you cannot keep an appointment - it will always be of use to someone else. Should you fail to attend for 3 appointments in a 12 month period you will be classed as a frequent offender and may be asked to leave the practice.

Out of hours

If you are unable to get to a Walk in Centre and require urgent attention from a doctor when the surgery is closed then between 6:30pm - 8:30am and at weekends please telephone NHS Choices on 111
