Cervical smears

There is no specific clinic, but these can be arranged by appointment with any of the Practice Nurses. When booking the appointment please tell the Receptionist that you require a cervical smear, so a longer appointment time can be allocated.

The national recommendation is to have a cervical smear every three years aged 25-50 and every 5 years aged over 50 – 64. You will receive a reminder as part of the National Screening Programme.
